Cognitive Framework

Cognitive Framework

Cognitive Framework is “a number of conceptual frameworks and theories have been developed to explain and predict user behavior based on theories of cognition”(Preece, Yvonne, & Sharp, 2015, p.80). It is the observance of how people will interact with environment around them.

Reflection on the Topic

1.     Cognitive framework is about processing and interpretation information about an issue. It is the process from receiving information, comprehending all materials, examining and interpreting information. Then information will be cooperate into a frame for better understanding.
2.      “The relationship between interaction and learning is a central concern of the learning sciences, and analysis of interaction has emerged as a major theme within the current literature on computer-supported collaborative learning” (Suthers, Dwyer, Medina, & Vatrapu, 2010)
3.      Here is the video about Dr. Spilios talks about using cognitive framework into active learning and helping student learn more effective.

My Thought

“Cognitive framework is always present with interactions and processing information in order to make system or product communication with users effectively”(Hoang, 2018)
