Data Recording
Data Recording
Data
recording is a way to make data become available to next use by using techniques
and necessary items. “Capturing data is necessary so that the results of a data
gathering session may be taken away and analyzed.”, “data recording approaches
are used will depend on the context, time and resources available, and the
sensitivity of the situation, the choice of data recording approach will affect
the level of detail collected, and how intrusive the data gathering will be”(Preece, Yvonne, & Sharp, 2015).
Reflection on the Topic
1. Data recording is way for us to
record data and make them available for the next use. It is for restoring
information and data after collecting it and make them into a form that can
easily restore so they can be retrieved the next time if needed. Forms of data recording
varies, but most common includes: photographs, audio, videos, notes, etc.
2. The four data recording methods (i.e.,
descriptive analysis, immediate direct observation recording, post observation recording,
and technology-based data recording) discussed in this article can be easily incorporated
into all types of classroom settings.”(Jasper, Hunter, Williamson, & Collins, 2015)
(Scholera, 2018)
This video explains about the concept of data recording which happened
around us every day, not just in technology fieldMy Thought
“Using these data recording methods, strategies, and tips
will facilitate databased decision making practice”(Jasper et al., 2015)
